…on cancer support
…helped me enormously, from the first diagnosis, through the treatment, where I found visualisation extremely helpful, and on into my recovery from cancer. She combines impressive professional skill and experience with great sympathy and sensitivity.
…has a unique combination of skills; high levels of empathy; understanding of the shock and despair on cancer diagnosis; a lot of experience of working with cancer sufferers which meant she was not phased by my concerns and anxieties… these processes led me to profound and helpful lifestyle insights… three years on, my treatment is all done, my blood tests are excellent and I am fully well and active! Judith has been a major contributor to this situation – thank you so much!
…on general psychotherapy
…sessions with Judith were truly therapeutic, in that each time I came away feeling strengthened and refreshed. Seeing situations in a new light, and able to make more sense of the past, and to deal more effectively with current challenges. I was helped to work though grief from over 20 years ago, and also to prepare for the next phase of my life – retirement – with greater clarity of understanding of myself, and a more confident sense of purpose.
…has huge experience of life and I believe this allows her to offer appropriate and non-judgemental counselling support. My life has been enriched for having her open my eyes to new ideas.
…on relationships
…it really helped us resolve our differences and work out how to enjoy living together, rather than constantly sparring with each other.
…on family relationships
…helped us, as a couple in a second marriage, to deal with some of the complex issues of a ‘blended’ (or ‘unblended’!) family – children/step-children, anxieties, disappointments, expectations, and so on. We were each helped to see what was going on in the relationships within our families, to find some healing for what had been hurting, to accept the reality of what had to be lived with, and to celebrate what is good in what we have.
…on transpersonal psychotherapy
…it’s been illuminating and enormously supportive for me. Her gentle clarity combined with great insight brings a quality of revelation to the session that feels life changing. She has been a wonderful support during challenging times and I feel grateful to have worked with her.
…on somatisation
…helped me to understand which of my physical symptoms were connected to unresolved emotional issues. With her caring support and guidance, I was then able to identify and work through those issues, which has totally transformed my life, both physically and mentally.
…on sonstellations
…loved doing Family Constellation work with Judith. She helped me to set clear boundaries which I could feel for the first time in my body. It was liberating to see the issues of my family set out in figures in front of me – and the accuracy of the process was extraordinary. I left feeling so much lighter and clearer.
…on headache clinic
…came to the Headache Clinic as a last resort, after experiencing 10 months of continuous chronic migraine, the cause of which neither NHS or private neurologists had been able to diagnose. By the time I met Judith, Mark and Martin I was shattered by the constant pain and had accepted that I would never be well again. I could not have been more wrong! Within 10 minutes of sitting down with the team, they had a working diagnosis and were helping draw up a treatment plan for me. Shortly after starting treatment, some minor orthodontics, chiropractic corrections and talking therapy I was experiencing full pain-free days and then pain-free weeks.
…on therapist supervision
…has encouraged me to develop my own unique practice of counselling and has inspired me with her warmth and commitment to supporting others through therapeutic relationships.
